Select the reverse-camera image on your supported factory screen using a factory-style REAR switch, while retaining normal automatic reverse-camera operation.
Compatibility
For supported Isuzu D-MAX models, 2012–2024, and MU-X models, 2013–2024, with the matching factory touchscreen, 16-pin and 8-pin stereo connectors and a reverse camera already working on the screen. Match the screen, connectors and switch blank before ordering. The 2025-onwards systems are not supported by this listing.
What’s Included
- 1× AC-CAM-ON-HRN-ISUZU-2012 stereo interface harness with 1 m switch lead
- 1× 33 mm REAR single-button switch (AC-SW-ISUZU-REAR)
- 1× standard AC-SWITCH-SPLITTER for the single-button connection
The camera is not included. This kit uses the 33 mm REAR switch.
How It Works
The harness connects inline behind the stereo and provides the camera-selection connection. The REAR switch uses the normal splitter required for single-button controls. The switch icon illuminates with the vehicle’s parking lights. The existing reverse-camera function remains available when reverse is selected.
Installation
Check that the existing camera works, connect the matched harness inline, route the switch lead and install the switch in the matching blank. Connect the standard splitter and switch, then test on-demand selection and normal reverse-camera operation before refitting trim. Follow the fitting steps on this page.
