Keep Your Cameras When You Upgrade Your Stereo

When you remove the factory stereo in the new 70 Series LandCruiser and install an aftermarket unit (Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, Sony, ATOTO etc.), the camera wiring no longer plugs straight in.

The AutoChimp™ Retrofit Kit provides the two small adapters you need so your existing AutoChimp™ Reverse Camera, Quad Camera System, Dual Camera System, Front Camera System and Rear Camera continue to work with your new head unit.

No guessing, no custom wiring – just plug in the adapters and you’re ready to go.

What This Kit Does

• Adapts the factory/AutoChimp camera wiring to a standard RCA connection for aftermarket stereos

• Retains the AutoChimp camera interface functions (auto quad view, dual view, front and rear camera)

• Provides power connection for the camera interface via the included 2‑pin JST lead

• Connects the AutoChimp video output to the Reverse Camera Input on your new stereo (often labelled RCIN or R-CAM)

Basic Installation Overview

1. Remove the existing RCA breakout cable from the AutoChimp loom.

2. Install the supplied Reverse Camera Adapter in its place.

3. Plug the 2‑pin JST connector into the AutoChimp interface.

4. Match the RCA colours – red to red, black to black on the AutoChimp unit.

5. Run the yellow male‑to‑male RCA from the AutoChimp video output to the Reverse Camera Input (RCIN / R‑CAM) on your new stereo.

Most installs are a straightforward plug‑in process, but we recommend professional installation if you are not confident with car audio wiring.
