Add a selectable front-camera view to your Toyota LandCruiser Prado 150 Series while retaining the factory reverse camera. The kit includes an AutoChimp Pro camera, its 7m cable, universal mounting kit and the RCA/power adapter that connects it to the QuadCam module.

Fits: Australian-delivered Prado 150 GX and GXL with the 9-inch CarPlay-generation factory screen and conventional factory reverse camera. Uses the matching 30-pin video / 28-pin control architecture.

How It Works

The vehicle-specific harness routes the selected camera feed through the factory reverse-camera input. The module retains the original rear-camera path and switches the additional views through the supplied controls.

This later system uses the Toyota 2020-family vehicle harness for the matching 9-inch CarPlay-generation stereo. Follow that harness’s video and control connections.

1. Identify the factory screen, camera input and a suitable dash-switch location.
2. Install the matching vehicle harness and camera-video connections behind the stereo.
3. Connect additional camera video and suitable power. Retain the original factory-camera supply.
4. Fit the supplied controls and test every selected view and automatic reverse-camera operation before final assembly.

Compatibility

Australian-delivered Prado 150 GX and GXL with the 9-inch CarPlay-generation factory screen and conventional factory reverse camera. Uses the matching 30-pin video / 28-pin control architecture.

Not compatible with VX, Kakadu, factory PVM / Multi-Terrain Monitor / 360° camera systems, earlier 7-inch / 8-inch screens or Prado 250.

Existing reverse camera required: the supported factory-screen system must already show a conventional reverse-camera image. Complete and verify that camera path before adding this expansion kit.

Check the actual dash blank or planned mounting position against the supplied 32mm switches. The vehicle year alone does not confirm switch fit.
