Connect the QuadCam switching module to an aftermarket screen with a compatible reverse-camera input. This combined kit provides the module and universal installation wiring for up to four selectable camera feeds in total, with one image displayed at a time.

Cameras and dash switches are sold separately. SnapLock connectors are not included.

Compatibility

For aftermarket displays with a compatible camera video input and a suitable reverse/display-trigger connection. Universal installation requires the correct power, ground and trigger wiring; it is not a vehicle-specific plug-and-play harness.

Factory-screen installations require the appropriate vehicle-specific harness and interface assessment. Factory panoramic, PVM, Multi-Terrain Monitor and 360° systems are outside the standard supported range.

How It Works

Connect the retained rear camera and added cameras to the QuadCam inputs, return the module’s output to the screen and wire the display trigger. Compatible momentary switches select the camera view. Normal reverse-camera activation can be retained when the matching trigger path is correctly connected.

Video and Power

CVBS and AHD video pass through unchanged. Match every camera’s output to the screen’s supported format. The module does not convert video formats or provide digital-camera compatibility by itself.

Added-camera outputs provide 12V with a 2A maximum on the selected channel; one channel is active at a time. Keep the retained factory camera on its correctly rated supply. The QuadCam module’s input-current capacity is 10A.

Switch Selection

Single-button switches use the normal AC-SWITCH-SPLITTER. FRONT/REAR dual buttons use AC-SWITCH-FR-ADAPTER; CAM 1/2 and CAM 3/4 dual buttons connect directly.

Installation Overview

1. Confirm video format and the screen’s camera input and trigger requirements.
2. Connect the universal power/trigger harness and RCA video path.
3. Connect the retained camera and chosen additional cameras using their matched video/power adapters.
4. Fit the selected controls and test each camera plus reverse operation before finishing the installation.
