Dual camera integration for earlier Suzuki factory screens

Add one selectable camera view alongside the reverse camera already working on your supported Suzuki screen. This interface kit includes the earlier Suzuki harness, QuadCam module and CAM 1 / CAM 2 switch. The additional camera and its mount are sold separately.

Compatibility

For supported Jimny factory touchscreens with the earlier 20-pin power and 5-pin camera/reverse connector family, principally 2019–2024, and supported Vitara factory touchscreens, 2015–2024. Match the screen and rear connectors to the listing images. Grand Vitara, 2024 Jimny XL changeover vehicles and converted vehicles require the actual stereo and connectors to be checked. Original non-display radios cannot show camera video.

A working reverse camera is required first. It may be the original factory camera, an existing compatible aftermarket camera or an AutoChimp reverse camera already displaying on the supported screen. If no camera is fitted, install a compatible reverse-camera kit before adding this expansion kit. Factory panoramic / 360° camera systems are not supported.

How It Works

The harness and RCA breakout connect inline behind the screen. QuadCam routes the retained reverse camera to CAM 1 and your added camera to CAM 2. Use the included CAM 1 / CAM 2 dual-button switch to select a view. Reverse gear continues to display the reverse camera automatically. One camera image displays at a time.

No camera, camera mount or SnapLock joiners are included.

Switch Connections

The included CAM 1 / CAM 2 dual switch connects directly through the supplied extension; it does not need AC-SWITCH-FR-ADAPTER. Optional single-button controls require the standard AC-SWITCH-SPLITTER. A FRONT / REAR dual switch requires AC-SWITCH-FR-ADAPTER. Alternative switches and adapters are sold separately.

The RCA breakout and first 0.5 m switch extension listed above are already included in the complete vehicle harness pack. They are supplied once.

Video and Camera Power

QuadCam passes CVBS or AHD video through unchanged; the camera format must match the connected screen. It does not convert AHD to CVBS. The retained reverse camera keeps its original vehicle power supply, whether 6V or 12V. The module supplies switched 12V camera power, up to 2A on the selected channel, with one output active at a time.

Add Your Camera

Choose a camera and mount suited to the intended view and the factory screen’s video format. Pro Series cameras connect through AC-PRO-CAM-RCA-YELLOW; Heavy Duty cameras use AC-HEAVY-CAM-RCA. Connect RCA video and the corresponding camera-power connection to the module. Check the camera picture, selected view and normal reverse operation before completing the installation.
