The AutoChimp™ 24-Pin Reverse Camera Interface Harness is a plug-and-play way to feed a reverse camera into a factory Toyota stereo that uses the 24-pin camera port.

It installs inline behind the head unit and carries every factory circuit straight through — CAN, speed, illumination, data and audio lines all remain intact — while breaking out only the wires needed to deliver video to the camera input.

No cutting, no splicing, no modification to factory wiring. Unplug the factory 24-pin connector, plug the harness inline, and connect your camera.

Which Harness Do I Need?

Fitment is decided by the plug on the back of your stereo, not by the trim level or badge. Pull the head unit out and look at the camera connector:

• 24-pin plug — this harness (AC-TOY-24PIN)

• 12-pin plug — AC-TOY-12PIN (70 Series 2024+ facelift)

• 26-pin, 28-pin or 30-pin plug — see the matching AutoChimp™ adapter for that connector

Important — Reverse Trigger Signal

This harness carries the video signal. It does not generate the reverse trigger that tells the stereo to switch to the camera.

On most of these vehicles that trigger comes from the AutoChimp™ 28-Pin Reverse Trigger Signal Harness (AC-TOY-28PIN). If a factory camera was already fitted, that circuit is usually present and nothing further is required. If it is not, the 28-pin harness is sold separately and is required for the camera to display.
