The AutoChimp™ AC-TOY-28PIN installs inline behind the factory stereo and does two jobs at once: it feeds the reverse trigger signal into the head unit, and it provides a 4-pin camera input with full factory pass-through. On the facelift 70 Series it also carries the camera video itself.

A loose green wire supplies the reverse signal to Pin 2 of the 28-pin plug — connect it to whichever patch harness your vehicle requires. All 28 factory pins carry straight through the harness, so every OEM circuit stays connected. Only the camera video circuits break out to the 4-pin plug pair. Completely plug & play and fully reversible — no splicing, no coding, no programming.

Which Harness Do I Need?

The AC-TOY-28PIN is the constant across the range — it supplies the reverse trigger signal on every fitment.
• 70 Series pre-facelift – AC-TOY-28PIN for the reverse signal, plus the AC-TOY-24PIN behind the stereo for the camera input
• 70 Series facelift – AC-TOY-28PIN behind the stereo carries both, or the AC-TOY-12PIN at the kick panel handles the camera input
• The reverse signal can instead come from the AC-TOY-24PIN-70SERIES at the driver’s kick panel — use one, not both

How It Works

1. Remove the factory stereo and unplug the 28-pin connector
2. Insert the AC-TOY-28PIN inline behind the stereo
3. Connect the green wire to the reverse signal source your vehicle requires
4. Plug your AutoChimp™ camera into the labelled 4-pin CAM INPUT
5. Select reverse — the factory screen shows the camera feed automatically
