The AutoChimp™ AC-TOY-20PIN is a reverse camera interface harness for Toyota vehicles fitted with a non-touchscreen factory stereo — the 3.5" screen head units with TUNE/FILE and PWR/VOL dials. It installs inline behind the stereo using the OEM plugs on the vehicle, so a reverse camera can be added to the factory screen with no splicing, coding or dash cutting.

The harness T-pieces into the factory loom and breaks out a 4-pin camera plug pair carrying 6V camera power and composite video. A green trigger wire with an AutoChimp™ SnapTap connector picks up the reverse signal at the driver's side fuse box for vehicles without a reverse pin at the head unit. Completely plug & play and fully reversible.

• Matched to Factory Video Format – Built for CVBS (NTSC/PAL) output, which is the format the OEM Toyota stereos use.

How It Works

• The AC-TOY-20PIN plugs inline behind the stereo, between the factory loom and the head unit.
• An AutoChimp™ Pro Series or Heavy Duty Series camera connects to the labelled CAM INPUT on the 4-pin plug pair.
• The green wire routes to the fuse box at the driver's side knee position, left of the steering column. The cover clips off for easy access.
• Using the supplied SnapTap, tap the green wire onto the RED/WHITE wire in the centre of the vertical plug. The camera view then appears on the factory screen when reverse is selected.
• If the vehicle already has a factory reverse plug available at the stereo, the reverse signal can instead be plugged directly into the harness 5-pin connector — the green wire and fuse box tap are then not needed.
